Silk & Satin made into a scarf, silk. lingerie, sarees, underwear,

and more are very special and desirable materials. One of the best know clothing material are satin pajamas, sarees, underwear, panties, lingerie and nightgowns but silk fabric and satin is used also for other purposes such as bed sheets, bed cover, pillow cover and more.

Since there is quite a verity such as Indian silk, Chinese, Thai, Myanmar or Burmese silk and more each of this variants serve a certain market segment with some overlapping.

E.g. Thai silk is more dense and stiff than Chinese and Indian but that makes it better suitable for certain type of clothing and in the home as bedcover and other. Lingerie and underwear is usually made from Chinese material since it is much softer.

Silk clothing for women

is probably the widest application of the material. Just imagine a black satin panty or maybe white satin panties, lingerie with a beautiful body in it wearing thongs or other sexy underwear, this is not automatically for naughty girls, this is mainstream, at least with younger people in the west, actually we don’t use burkas. Satin clothing, underwear, lace dresses, bras and some boxer and knickers for the guys, that’s the real stuff.

Silk production

is more or less all natural, no plastic, nylon or other artificial fibers although on various clothing natural and artificial fibers are mixed, if it is for a good purpose it’s ok, usually this blending is done to enhance the strength and make the items less costly.
